Winter hasn't even hit yet and its already becoming hard to find fuel. It took me almost two hours to find a place that had any fuel. What place would stock fuel in the winter. When I finally found a place it took me for ever to find it in the store and all they had were a few small bottles. I don't know if I can go all winter without spinning fire.

Errm, wow that's strange. I always found that it was hard to find fuel in the summer due to it being hot anyway, but whatever. tongue2 Garages often only stock fuel in the colder times, but bigger hardware stores like B&Q and Homebase (UK) sell it year round. Try that sorta shop.

Well im in the chicago area. I tryed a few hardware stores. I ended up finding it in a smaller hardware store and they were almost out and not stocking any more. The exact fuel is a Tiki brand. Im trying to find a picture of the bottle right now. Its a citronella based fuel.

If it's tiki fuel you're looking for then you shouldn't have any problems switching over to lamp oil, which should be available everywhere.

and there's always the gallon jug of kerosene from Home Depot

Citronella ??? shocked

I'm curious to know WHY fuel would be harder to find in winter? I've never experienced difficulty in getting fuel of any kind... But I usually use shellsol D60, anyway. (Bought from Juggleart who jack up the price on it! Accurse them! But I dunno about buying a drum of the stuff anyway..)

hardware shops that specialise in petrol engined maichinery, usualy carry all kinds of fuel, my friend owns a shop specialising in husqavana chainsaws and he stocks all kinds of fuel, like aspen, parafin, lamp oil, everything realy and there normally quite cheap as it all gets dispensed from giant drums in the store so its not pre-pack

Well the reason its harder for me to find fuel is because the fuel I use is for those outside torches people use in the summer time.

Ya i would reccomend switching to ultra pure lamp oil, can be found at most hardware stores and stores like Target and Blow-Mart
