Salutations!

Cantus, Chelly, Me, Tobi et al from the Manchester lot have come up with the idea (well, Cantus did, we followed) that it would be lovely to see many many people over the New Year period.

With this in mind, we thought that it would be lovely to hire a cottage or something in the hills, where we could play late night scrabble and spin fire.

As yet, we have no confirmed venue (cos a lot of hire people restrict bookings over Xmas, so you cant book until later on) but we were thinking somewhere in the geographical centre of the UK, so that we can get as many HoPpers involved as possible.

Now I've been looking at a few places in the Derbyshire/Peak District area, and there's many places that would be suitable, also North Wales has many places that are gently secluded.

So with all this in mind, please can you post here if you are interested in gathering together over the new year for fun, frolics and fire!

Bring on 2008!

Please can we make it easily drivable from Manchester, as my work are mean and make us work through the festive period.

Is this going to be an outdoor type thing? In which case the world is our oyster. However, after PiP, it might be wise to have some shelter somewhere to avoid freezingness.

Good call.

Somewhere to stay would be a good idea, if not then we'd all be censored for getting home...and then at least if it's raining or such, then we don't have to worry about finding shelter outside.

Sounds like a great idea to me... being possibly the most centrally based spinner on here! I'm sure the Brummie contingent would approve as well!
