A little early perhaps, but it can't help to have a butchers...

This time next year is when the college start pushing us to start applying for Uni, too start in autumn term '07

I'm currently at a college in Eastbourne doing a National Dimploma in Art and Design. In a weeks times is my first assesmant, at which I will present my last 9 weeks worth of mini projects and choose my specialism. Which will be 3D crafts - ceramics, metal/wood/glass work etc.

I'm a bit hard pressed to find a website where I can search for a Uni by course. I'm currently on www.direct.gov.uk, which is helpful, but dosn't really give me what I want.

I'd preferably like to go to a Uni in the South West-ish. Uni of Sussex, Brighton and Kent are waaay to close to home. Me being me I don't want to be right in the middle of a city. Big crowds, noise, pollution, no sea! Bleurgh.

Which is why I've had my eye on a contemporary crafts course at Falmouth Uni which I quite like the look of. Near the sea, won't be too..horrid, and of course lovely spinners biggrin

Some help would be muchly appriciated, in the form of suggestions of uni's with 3D kind of courses (because everybody just has common knowledge of those rolleyes) if possible or helpful websites. A search has thrown up nothing, even though I vaguely remember last year something being posted about Uni's shrug

Thank yee

smile

They liked my portfolio and said it was a pleasure viewing my work.
I got the feeling after they'd looked at my folio they were thinking 'Well, shes good, but is she really good, and then asked the most obscure questions to test my ability to answer...

Anyway, they said I should here from them soon so fingers crossed!

Just got home and have changed into boxer shorts, baggy trouserss, and an exetremely over sized hoodie

If looking 'presentable', means being uncomfortable, and trying to discreetly unwedge control knickers from out of my lady parts all day - then its just not for me ubblol
