An update in land of miss aimz..

I'm at big kid school

Am 2 weeks into a national dimploma in art and desing at Eastbourne college of visual and performing arts. Bit of a mouthful
I'm absoloutly loving it
My rotation at the momant involves graphics (photoshop), textiles (print design), ceramics (er...pot making) and an AS in photography.
Over the next 9 weeks everything will change par the photography to things like fashion, fine art etc..
I'm having so much fun!!

Have already made some new funky friends. Being the only un-gimpish ( ) person from my school doing the course at Eastbourne I was a little..scared? But it's all cool.
Have to specialise in December. I think it may be in Ceramics.... *ponder*

I've had an absoloute stonker of a summer. It's been f*cking ace
The strength of friendships between myself and other Hastings spinners has increased tenfold. They are my little rays of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day

The first fantasicle thing to happen this summer was by Cambridge University visit. Went there for a week. Had lots of different lectures and things. A tad boring, but an experiance
One night at home and I'm off out again to 'The Party'. Three night mini festival in Lydia's garden..several feilds of a garden.
All the cool kids wrere there. Lots of local bands played. Huzzah for all female moshpits!! There was lots of vodka involved. There were no showers.
Dad picked me up when it finished and had to open all the windows in the car....I smelled goooood.

Some other stuff happend between then and August..I think it involved more Vodka..

And then it was PLAY!!
Indescribable. Just amazing. I could go on about how many fantastic peopel I met, but I shant..you lot are also my rays of sunshine

Then I got my GCSE results. Passed everything besides physics...but who needs gravity anyhoo . Pretty damn pleased about them there results

Then Ed came to stay with his dad in Hastings for 2 weeks. There was lots of sitting on the beach me learning from him, throwing stones at rats with wings, and shouting at the people who were swimming in the sea
"You'll come out with 12 toes!!"

The last weekend of the summer before I went to big kid school was the big Hastings Spin, which I had been trying to sort out for aaaages.
Despite the soton massive being extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemly lame and not staying for the actual meet *shakes fist*, I had a funky time. And it was nice for some HoPers to meet some hastings kids. Look - I do have friends
Anyone for fish and chips?

Hastings Spin is going strong. We're now getting paid for gigs, allbeit in beer , but its a start. Last week we fire span at the opening of 'Blah bar' in Hastings, and this saturday we're booked to spin outside a pub called Harpers, also in Hastings
And the park meets are getting bigger and bigger all the time. Which is insane seeing as it was jsut me and Koo last summer representing the Hastings spinners collective...

I've met so many new and amazing people this summer. I've had such a fun time.
Roll on next year!
