ok well its confirmed.

IVe booked the date in, and so now we have a lovely big Hall with a Kitchen and toilet block, along with a big ass campign area and flat area to use for the weekend! sept 30, Oct 1, 2 and 3. Its in a beautiful location only 5 minutes from the closest Public Transport and Supermarket, or 25 minutes by car from the Adelaide GPO. We can arrange transport to and from the site from the Bus stop given a bit of notice.

We've also bought a big ass markee to use as a 2nd learning area if the workshops get too big to fit in the hall.

I was thinking we could also have a bit of a party on the saturday night if people were able to chip in for a PA...

so yeah - if you are interested in something or doing something else - say so!

and yes - there will be a large campfire, and a big fire spin.

Cheapest flights from Adelaide to Melbourne are 89 dollars no matter which day go.
Coming back the cheap day is Tuesday (69 dollars) with other days being 89 dollars.
All of this is on Virgin Blue.

The only exception is coming back on Monday whereby Jetstar is cheaper at 69 dollars.

Geez, I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

I was thinking... it would be great if we had a huge mirror in the hall. It's sooo good to twirl in front of a mirror, especially with doubles or poi because it helps you keep in time. Not to mention juggling and all the other craziness.

Not really sure how we'd get a mirror up there though... any thoughts? Does anyone have one we can use?

well, unfortunately it is looking more and more like I won't be able to make it along due to work & finances. I have a new job which is keeping me very busy, and I am not sure if I will be able to get leave. And I am saving to maybe go overseas next year, whilst paying off PELS for my Grad Dip. frown And I have sorta done my big spend for the year and bought my ticket for Woodford (and a tent!!)

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

Its definitely not a 'proper' camp ground and it definitely doesnt have a website. its owned by the community, and we are renting it from a community group which manages it. hopefully Ben will put the video up online soon and you can all see what it looks like! smile there wont be anyone else camping there when we are there - I booked the whole thing.
