hello
im thinking about getting 2 glow staffs of hop over the next two weeks.And was hopeing someone could tell me if there good.

personally i dont like em they are to small, light and bouncy for my likeing. guess it depends on your style

Is it better to make them yourself like mo_seph did. Check out his green destiny vid. that glow staff looks nice and long

Mr Loki has had a play with my electroglo sticks, so he knows roughly what the glowbug ones are like.
Benjamen likes heavy sticks cos he's a contact staffer first and fore most.
Personally i think the glowbug ones are quite nice, sturdy, well balanced, easily adpated (like mr malcolm says) and have the added advantage that yuou can take them into clubs and things where they generally don't let you take fire toys...

Hey,
I have the glo-staffs and I started off with them so don't know how fire ones feel. But they look good, you can exchange the lights and batteries easily and they don't hurt, which is good for a beginner.

i wouldnt mind making some myself, I much prefer my own stuff cos its customized to my own spec.. so where's a good place to get LEDs from in the UK? any websites people know?
bonus question: what aboot Polycarb tubing? ack.

well ive started makeing my own latly and selling them on ebay and to a local shop in manchester...led are easy to get from an ebay user called "windowsrightclick" he sells 10 leds for £1.99 + one pound p&p....and the tubeing i found at a FISH SHOP???

I have the short globug staff which I personally love. As to the lightness/weight issue I took the washers out and put three 25 cent pieces under the washers on each end. I do have to warn you though... the end part where you turn the LED light on/off broke from getting stuck in between the washer but the light is still usable. Actually I am glad that it broke since I drop it a lot and that would turn the light on and when I tried taking the lights out it messed up the weight for me personally. Eventually I would like to have someone make me a custom staff as I have some varied and unusual ideas for one.

Personally I think that the globyg staffs are a little on the short light side. A few people agree. I think that light system is a little off, I had to put putty in the ends to keep the LEDs going.
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
