Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.

The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.

Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!

So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens

St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)

The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)

With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

Here's the map

https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...360&ie=UTF8

*WINTER LOCATION*

Under the Princess bridge (Southbank side). Where the Southbank Sundey market happens.

Yes, dear Fire-Falcon, I do indeed know the meaning to the word Dork. Do YOU? :P

I quote Dictionary.com (a wordsmiths favourite website):

1. Slang. A stupid, inept, or foolish person: “the stupid antics of America's favorite teen-age cartoon dorks” (Joshua Mooney).
2. Vulgar Slang. The penis.

I leave it to you to decide which applies :P

Also {inserts quirky answer to quirky question, that only she knew the answer to.}

HAHA! i beat you at your own game! wink

Mmm.. *ventures into Melbournia*

Hi all, I'm visiting Melbourne 10th to 15th-ish for the Students of Sustainability thing. Going with uni it's looking quite affordable.. Not sure if I'll manage to sneak out and have a bit of a twirl though.

Still, I intend to biggrin

*thinks of all the nice Melbournites there are to meet..* ubbangel

There's a Wednesday meet too? So what's the usual arrangement with meets (if that's not too vague a question)?

Yeah I went to the Wednesday one once....personally I prefer the Sunday meets for reasons I won't mention here.

According to my memory, if you could extend your stay for an extra day or two...you'll be here when MiG is here...this is a good thing! I'll definately be down then.

But that's not for ages! frown

I'll try and come down this sunday....then again on the 17th(?) when MiG and Ry are here.

Yays! for the being who prefer sunday nights biggrin aren't we just the coolest bunch...

*Pokes* You know cel? shes coming on sunday night. i dont know if shes wishing to disclose why she hasn't been around for a while, but can we all make a special effort to be nice? I know shes hyper active and occationally violent, but things have been rough, so i think some extra love and understanding would go down well.

so maybe i should make a comment less mother hen like?? grrr ,
shuts up then

Even if the weather looks evil and like it is going to rain, don't let it be a deterant, i'm sure we will be able to find some shelter.

i think her name's cel or sel, short for selina/celina. and yup, she's lovely for a such a violent person. and i think that you really should bring your delicious brownies bluebottle, you really should. Pancakes would be good too, but i think they were really tricky last time. pizza was good last time, so maybe we could bring some $$ each and maybe treat our hungry little sakura hug
