Well, what can I tell you about myself? I was born in Newmarket, England and my family moved to Wellington when I was three and a half. At the moment I live on my own with my two dogs Zaphod and Dipity (short for Serendipity). I'm working in IT at the moment, but I'm looking at changing that soon and being a student again.
A few months ago I went back to the Full Moon Drumming circle after a long absence (nine and a half years) and picked up a set of poi for the first time. Heheh, I now have my own set, as well as a double ended staff and I'm in the process of making two shorter sticks as well (yep, I want it all!!!). I'm still in Wellington but looking at travelling in the future, who knows what will happen right?
So, yes, I'm a newbie in many ways - new to Home of Poi, new to fire twirling, but I'm hoping to make some new friends along the way smile

Okay C@ntus, no pressure, no pressure smile You told me to remind you....

No Psycho, you don't get permission, I've been hangin out for this for too long!!! You'll just have to come down for the next one (or the next one or...) I have two friends from Auckland coming down today for this one, and I even thought to take tomorrow off work (Wednesday night - half price cocktails, so there'll be lotsa students and it won't finish until at least 3:30am...) Does anything like this happen in Akl? Is there a chance that it could?

ooo, I just had a deja vu moment peace
