Hey Everyone...
Just a few quick words to say hi and to introduce myself a little..
Well, im a 21 year old female who lives in Brisbane Australia but hails from Masterton in New Zealand..
I have been playing sticks for the past 7 months now, my friend Allie taught me and I love her for it. My fav toy is the short staff, although I have recently bought a new stick that has a lot more length on it and its been interesting to use the two... I also use poi and devil stix and can juggle like a demon...not... I work for an insurance company by the day but during my spare time I work in a lot of mystic fairs doing readings with tarot and palms and auras and such...My fav book is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson...and also a book Im reading at the moment called "Crossing Over" by john Edwards the medium guy off the telly... The highlight of my life to date was running into The Tea Party after their brisbane concert and hanging out with the drummer Jeff Burrows for beers... That was great.. I saw Tool play the other night and I can say without a doubt that the concert was one of the best I had been to in a long time..go if you get the chance...![[Razz]](images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

ummm I have some devastating news...
Work has told me that I am not able to have time off work for woodford. So I may not be able to spend the whole week there...
But I am working on it....
in happier news Arsn and I have a present for you pixie and a present for the becca too... special picked out for you guys presents!!!
Im still sad about the woodford thing though... but there is still hope...
sigh... damn that working crap!!!

I just wanted to tell you that I'm a textile designer by day, and sometimes when I start running out of ideas of what to name new prints I use the first name that pops into my head... The print I'm working on right now is called "Valura". It's a beautiful circle skirt print ~ black with white dots and colorful flowers.

We use procion when we need bright bright colors, cuz the other dyes always turn out muddy and muted, blech!

Im loosing interest in Hop these days.. which I promised myself would never happen.
So many new people that I dont know anymore and nobody really takes the time to get to know the oldies.
I had difficulty understanding where people were coming from when some of the beautiful souls expressed this strange feeling previously. but I am now starting to understand.
Please dont get me wrong, Im stoked that there are so many new people posting, its great. I just feel like heaps of the oldies are running away and Im loosing a friendship base on here.

I was away from HoP for what seems like absolutely ages, missed many of the changes and came back to a whole load of new faces too.
I think you'll find that there are a whole lot of people who dont have as much time as they did to post, it took me a while to make it round to posting again.
