I know both Lamb and Lemon Jelly have a following here on HOP and was wondering who was going to be at the gigs:
Lamb @ Brixton Academy 21st Feb
Lemon Jelly @ Forum 7th March

I've got my tickets!

BTW - If you haven't seen Lamb before, prepare to be blown away, quite simply the best gig I've been to EVER!

Never been to Lemon Jelly but am curious as to what "live" things will be going on. Hope it's not just a DJ set Lamb pretty much do everything live.

Oh and I know Lemon Jelly sold out on the Friday show but Thursday was available last time I checked (about 4 days ago) and I think Lamb went quite a while ago.

The Friday Lemon Jelly tickets were sold out before I even knew it was on, but I'm going to the Thursday one instead

It's going to be a pain working on the Friday, but I'm sure it'll be well worth it

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

You know - you're in luck.
They haven't!

I think.
It's best to buy more than one at a time if you can (and if you need more than 1 ticket) as the "handling" fees are quite high, but diminish with the more you buy.

Would have liked to make it to Lemon Jelly on the Friday.

Only discovered them at x-mas and I am loving the cd I picked up on the strength of one song.

Come faeries, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame.

Well tie me up and call me Shirley.

Lamb have postponed the gig until May 9th. Poo.

But, Lemon Jelly were pretty darn good
Very fragrant air in the venue, lots of space I thought and just a bizarrely happy vibe.
On the tube on the way back the entire carriage was playing "keepsy-upsies" with a balloon, even random people on the tube were smiling and joining in Ahhh, t'was wicked.

And then yesterday - Placebo @ the Astoria
Oh my god!!! How freakin' good were they?! Anyone else there? You all missed out - I knew they were my favourite band for a reason...
Already got my tickets for Brixton in April

Apparently the Lemon Jelly gig last Thursday was the reason i got this unexplained text from Mr Bovrilmonkey:

I'm playing bingo with death!
just thought i'd share the

"Switching between different kinds of chuu chuu sometimes gives this "urgh wtf?" effect because it's giving people the phi phenomenon."

Yeah - we arrived late but Death was still playing Bingo on stage.

Just goes to show what happens when you don't read a train timetable properly

Lemon Jelly at the forum was easily one of the best shows I've ever been to, and I've seen Orbital live 3 times which is damn hard to beat!!!

I've heard about Lamb, and look forward to seeing them in open air at Glastonbury! yeah!!!
