I lit up my double staffs for the first time tonight! grin But, unfortunately there was no one round to see it frownI'm so proud I just had to show off about it and, as my dad didnt seem to care in the slightest, I thought I'd tell you lot. . . .not that you're interested either winkI didnt really do anything out of the ordinary - none of the fancy stuff I've been practicing (unlit) recently. But it was still extremely exhilerating.Tomorrow I'm having some photos, of me doing double and single, taken so fingers crossed . . . ------------------C@ntus

Congratulations ! smileDon't worry you'll have plenty of time for showing this to your friends.I actually liked the fact that my first time was not with too many people. Itis sucha strong experience by itself, and I had the ones I love around me... that's enough, isn't it ?Keep burning and shiningCassandra

I'm sure you were fantastic. I'm not quite brave enough to have a go with 2 sticks at the same time yet, but I'm not too bad with my single firestaff. Keep on shining, your soul will delight even if noone else notices.

Ok I've been searching around for my first post on these boards. I'm not sure if this is it but it's definitely one of the early ones.

I was so cute back then....

Har Har, you do realise that our humour has been derived from british humour for over 150 years, maybe in another 150 years your humour will be at the same level as ours is now.

Horrible thought eh?

You mean we'll regress? Surely you'll still be deriving from us won't you?

When I said there were funny people there I meant Charles and Malcolm.
Who did you think I meant?

Wasn't bored Finn honey. Just wondering as to what my original post looked like. As I'm approaching the 4000 mark now I was getting curious and harking back to yesteryear.

a belated congratulations to our fellow doublestaffer - I've only begun doublestaffing this year, and only with light 1m staves at that! I can only dream to reach your level of fearsome backmuscleness! It's quite a spectacle that you, cass and flashfire have been helping out and being funny for so long!
