No 1 Spins Alone Poi Jam (by Whittney)
Spinners in the Washington, DC, metro area are invited to an open spin jam in Silver Spring, MD.
Now that spring is here let's spin in the sun light. Folks are welcome to join us from 2pm till 6pm March 13 for our first spin jam of the year. Our day time jams focus on helping folks learn to spin better. Everyone has something to teach and learn. Coming together we can share, learn, show off and have fun in a community of friends.
We set up music, space to spin, spinners to share and plenty of water and hot tea for everyone to enjoy.
We ask folks to bring their enthusiasm, sense of adventure and a snack to share. Donations to help keep things going are appreciated but not required. We also ask that all our guests be 18 or over.

Welcome, Fire Foxes!
You've enjoyed spinning fire for a few years. You're comfortable with the basics and want practice transitioning between movements and exploring planes. You want to learn more complex variations on basic moves-- spinning behind your back, flourishing with Isolations and Flowers, Anti-spin, partner work, and exploring your style with the use of an assortment of music styles.
Bring your practice (indoor) poi, I'll have some sets as well. Bring your hip scarves if you like to shimmy, too-- we meet in a Belly Dance Studio! www.sheelah.net
