So my flowtoys have been down for months, and I finally purchased two new flowtoys shell's (seen here).
My question is how do I split the hollow shell apart to switch all of the internals over to the new case?
The shell's come sealed, so I need to get those open as well without breaking the plastic.

Thanks! smile

I see that it's only 5 bucks for the flow shell but why not pay the 10 bucks and shipping just to get new ones? Personally that is the road I would take.

However with your situation he only advice I can offer is the break open your shell and glue it shut once you get the new parts in securely. Only thing I can think of. GL

'Note: These shells are sealed shut and not intended for use as a replacement casing for flowlight electronics. The battery door still functions, so you can use the shell as as container. '

A container for what? Drugs? You HEATHENS!

But yeah they say it's good for using as an empty case in your flowtoy rigs for weight or for putting a break in the light or whatever. Also as a case.

I know with my broken case I Looped a length of string through the top and bottom loops of the light and tied it to hold the two halves together. I'm not sure if that's what happened to yours, but that's what I did with mine. If all else fails, they would probably refund you for that case if you havent tampered with it for the misunderstanding and you can pay the $10 for the new light if you just send yours in.
