I have just recently gotten hip to Shpongle, Younger Brother, and Hallucinogen. Really great to spin too. You must check out Beats Antique also. These groups are like my flow finders.

i love the dubstep. but i also really enjoy the Amile soundtrack, and things in that same vein. any sort of complicated music that changes it up on you while still being repetitious gives you way more room to play!

I actually got to listen to Dubstep for the first time. Not bad, I can see why people are into them and how its great for spinning. Anyone out there ever heard of Fischerspooner? They have some good songs.

@Bren: Yeah, most dubstep is kinda "meh", but I've been digging some of the more energetic Bassnectar tracks lately. "Amorphous Form" and "Select Frequency" from Underground Communication are pretty fun. Never thought I'd develop a taste for music with a hip hop beat that wasn't Cannibal Ox or Blackalicious...

Mushroomhead and Sepultura still win, though.

If you havent heard of them, I suggest you check out "16 bit", a London Duo that make some pretty sweet plates. They have a pretty good mix of fast and slow stuff, and although it might be considered a little tame by some, its still great spinning music.

its lame , i know , but i love spinning to 3OH!3, just because theyre absolutely ridiculous, they make people laugh, and its very upbeat . very easy to spin to . However, it is my dream to one day make a choreographed fire dance to Thriller .

just about anything with good RYTHM not so much for "beats" cuz they seem to take over my spinning... i.e. power metal and metalcore but many more too

The only dubstep that I can listen to is Mt Eden's dubstep remixes.
Other than that, I love listening to house, uplifting trance, techno, and chiptune.

Yeah the Amélie soundtrack is amazing. Whenever that's playing it feels like magical, wondrous things should be happening even if you are doing the most boring everyday tasks.

Gogol Bordello will receive my endless praise. They make violins and accordions sexy and soulful.

This is my favorite spin track right now and honestly get lost in seriously hardcore breakbeat from the old school! I think my next fire video will be set to this song I fell in love with way back as a freshman in high school.
