At the end of each video we should all jump up with joy and throw our poi. Then the person editing can do like a big super fast roll of everyone jumping at the end. Followed by(with his permission of course) Ronan acting goofy at 2:20ish

Im glad I found this thread
Let me make sure i have every thing straight thus far: -ANYONE on HoP can submit a video section -try to limit clips to about 2 to 3 minutes -PoiBoy is doing the editing (if you need any help let me know, I just got some great new software) -The dead line for submission is feb 7th 2010 -the theme is Urban -we need to have one thing that each person does in their video for an ending reel(like through up your poi)
is that everything?

well I'm using all open source, Ubuntu is my OS, but the video editor, I'm using is Cinelerra. It should work great for cropping and arranging usable clips, and has a good deal of for transitions and text. I'm not sure if it would be preferable for a final produce, but it can certainly help us get there, if you would like some assistance.

I had a post on the deleted thread, it said something like this:
A friend of mine was the editor for the 2009 diabolo.ca collaboration video, over there the logistics for getting the files to the editor was using a send form on the forum where you can post the link to your file (usually sendspace.com), your name, and location.

Well at only 5 minutes you might actually be better off with just a single song. I was thinking this was going to be a 30-45 minute video and I was going to do a short mix for it. I'll just find something close to 5 minutes though and stretch it a bit.

30-45 min!!! are you crazy squire!! thatd be a bugger to edit... took me all night to edit 1:30 of footage (tho it was an intro for a performance i did at a local pup/club so its gotta be pro looking lol)
itd be nice to have an original track or mix tho id have thought 10 min mix to be safe cause theres always the magic of fade out + cause youtube allows up to 10 mins ;P even if it is poo quality compared to other sites

to UnscrupulousChavOffersFoot: i think is more important spinning than location, also a wall can be "urban", important is to show/share your spinning, giving a hand to do an amazing collaborative video! :-)
