I was sober for nearly 6 months. Hard to believe I know!

Well, alcohol sober. Was drunk on kava almost weekly though...

I can still type! I mustn't be drinking fast enough. What's kava?

Kava I think it’s a plant. Used in herbal remedy’s.
Tend to use st Johns wart, lavender things like that.

I got drunk last night, but forgot to post on here. I don't think I'll be drinking for a while again - not because of how much I had though!

Kava is the result of grinding the roots of a variety of pepper. Common on pacific islands although Ni-Vanuatu kava is reported to be the strongest.

It looks foul. Tasted foul. But renders you unable to stand up for a good while. Narcotics do that.

Anyone read the report on the new Beer that a Scottish brewer made? It's called "Tactical Nuclear Penguin" and it's 32%
If anyone gives it a try, let me know what it's like!

I thought yeast died long before the alcohol content could reach 32% so is it really beer? or does it just resemble beer?

Could be because it's brewed as opposed to distilled? Like Japanese sake.

i am curious about anything called 'tactical nuclear penguin', if i make it to scotland next year i'll have to keep an eye out.
