To answer you MrWooj. Hi there! It's not a drum circle thing at all- though there are some good acoustic musicians go down to jam sometimes.. they are also spinners so they swap around a bit. Talking drum sounds good. Djembes can be a pain in the space if they drown everything else out, which they do tend to do unless played with extraordinary sensitivity. Best thing is to go down there and scope it out. It's a very friendly space, apart from me who is likely to smack anyone who annoys me. But I'm away for a few weeks so it's relatively safe.

oh and yeahh drumming... i personally *love* the drums whenever people play... gives me something to groove to... that is when the break dancers don't already have their music playing... Some jugglers seem to get a bit annoyed by drumming.... as it messes with counting or the rhythm and concentration of it all... but i love having a beat to get right into the groove of what i'm doing... so a long winded responce to the drumming question would be *i* would welcome drummers... but i'm not the boss of anything here! and you might be competeing with breakdancers for the aural space... also there aren't always a lot of other drummers who come to jam with *shrug* ...as gabe said, a few other lovely acoustic musicians... but not hugely focused on the drums (though i'd love it if there were more of it! )

...But like i said i haven't been to JJ for aaaaaages... so all this is pretty useless... haha!! but i DO know that wearing an onion on ya belt is the style of the time

Hello lovely Brisvegans! I;m still in Bali which is a damn good excuse for not being at Juggle Jam. It's been awesome and I still have another 10 days woooot!

'tis good to be back and in the piazza fun again... specially loved learning the golden girls moves and bubble-bubble-toil-n-trouble moves

Well, I've been out of the country for a month. Kyle is in Europe. And my news is that I am back for 2 weeks then coming back to Bali, possibly for another 3 months or so. Have a volunteer position teaching English.... in a place that gives me goosebumps. Good ones. All this depends on a few things falling into place, but the rate they are falling so far, they will! See you on Monday!
