How is it that one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

cheers for the inspiration beanie! keep your eye on itv news lol

willworkforfood actually my practice staffs are very heavy cause they are pickaxe handles with towels wrapped around them. my performing staff is a lot lighter and i use both to train with. The pickaxe handles are more to build muscle than anything, but everything I do on one I can do on the other... it just tends to hurt more and move a lot slower with the handles lol.

The idea I'm having is to get a 130cm pole, with a lot of wicking (maybe 3 65mm wicks spaced out on each side, the closest wicking towards the center of the staff being the same distance as it is on my fireknife staff). im just trying to find a way of doing the same stuff i do with a fireknife, but on a larger scale. I know I wont be able to go as fast, i just wanted to know if i can make such a thing.

and Bender, you're pretty much correct, although the hook is an integrated part of the knife, which is somewhat like a machete blade.

would definitely like to see these forums more active. would be nice, always thinking that the reason people aren't on much anymore is because everyone's out spinning and otherwise enjoying themselves.

Sadly things have been slow in the development of the new site. Will have this discussion board on Facebook as a Facebook app.
