Now got the gallery link working better and have put link into users profile pointing to their gallery

can u also plz pass on these cheezy devil fingers \m/ \m/ for upgrading teh site so quickly. stuff always messes up - and you guys kept a lid on the truly aweful from happening (ie dropped accounts, scrampbled table indexes, not enough Chuck Norris references) so a big thank you!

Seconded, overall I thought it went pretty smoothly.

My threads aren't updating properly.

this morning I logged on and there were no new posts in a thread...but when I refreshed half an hour later, there were new posts in that thread that should have been there when i first logged on.

Happened to me a few times yesterday as well.

I dunno if this is a "BUG" per se but........


Right clicking on a users name and going to "Open in new window" brings you to a window with "javascript:void(0);" in the address bar..

I realize you click the name and choose where you wanna go so it's not like it really matters....just figured you didn;t have anything to do

that's by design, poje... it's just the way that this particular version of the forum code works. because the link isn't a "web address", but instead triggers a javascript function, it cannot be opened in a new window, because the new window would not know of the javascript function that the link is trying to call.

IOW, it's not a bug.

Is it possible to get the thing where it tells you how many posts are new in the thread? It's really handy for knowing which page of the thread you need to click on.

The thumbnail photos at the top don't seem to be updating, although i could look at that picture of MoonPixie all day

in the gallery the title of the page didn't fit the picture:

ie picture of MoonPixie in stargazer stilts- page title 'spining in gasworks'

Rouge: If you click on the name of a thread with new posts you will be automagically taken to the first new post.

try to follow the link to the COL list, competition tab, shop tab - get "database error - no connection"

Sorry had a DOS attack over the weekend that caused loss of database connections to part of the site. Have it resolved now and getting a service to "CellPhone text" me when the site is not working as it should

Some users had 3000+ PM's in their inbox. And were unable to receive or send new PM's.

Fixed all old PM's in the system. You should only have a few current PM's going now.

Oh and I nearly forgot. Can someone please upload a picture into the gallery to check if it is working OK. I uploaded one and it worked for me.

I would, but I can't seem to find how to do it...

i can't find it either... & i now has a RIDICULOUS amount of photos from common ground to choose from too!!

Also the gallery says welcome...*** and says the name of your log in name, rather than the name you use in the forums..

My login name is quite bad and don't really want to have to use it in the gallery!!

now I want to know what it is
