The "finish the word of the person above you" game

this idea came to me when posting in the other thread a bit like this:
i say the beginning of a word and you say the second part and then the person after that makes a word starting with what the second person finished the word above them with.

i'll start.

Now I am confuddled.....we make the word from the ending of the previous word right.....not put new letters in.

its fairly complicatedly simple, someone says the beginning of a word (E.G) LO, and someone else puts and end to it like, VE and then the next person makes a word starting with VE and puts something on the end...

yeah, but now noone else can go, i was thinking 'mis' 'sing' 'le' 'af' 'ter' 'ry' (as in terry cloth, not as a proper name) 'e' and so on, this game could work if you thought it through. Or maybe i just get too bored and have played scrabble way too much!

Perhaps a 'the winner loses' mentality to this game might work?
