 what we do with the answers that are NOT on the site?  consult SIS? Sorry I never took part in the comp's... does it mean that every latest guess nullifies the previous ones? Like if Bigfoots first guess would have been right, is the second one the one that counts?

No. So you can if you wish post 10 times in a row with a different guess each time. If you get it right on the sixth post you still win.
