would love to be there but i'll be 8 months pregnant by then so long journeys have been shelved for a while

i'm sure you'll have a wicked time though, it sounds great.

myself & the wee nipper will probably turn up at some other convention though later in the summer

love & light

Lisa

aaaaaaaaaaaah so much fun.

thank god it didn't rain, though - lack of 24 hour hall would have been tragic then.....

quick HLGBC

Highs

doing new routine in renegade
laughing at Kooothor and Mafiaboy
hanging out with cameron, declan, aengus, gwen and maelle at Ronnie O'Potamus's house for the afterparty...
hanging out with Stefan, Kamil, etcetc
Ronnie's poi routine.
the contact staff gladiators with meg

Lows

doing new routine on renegade stage - bad hanging for backdrop, mic on stage, forgetting the new fish-y bit, etcetc. dammit.
the bad back - not doing any stefan workshops because i didn't want to move too much
3b simon says. godDAMN

Goals

do routine - check
do stefan workshop - no check
learn new stuff - check
meet irish people - check

Bane

No 24 hour hall, or even 12 hour hall. worked ok because everyone just got on with it, but if it had been colder/raining it would have been a nightmare. and i HAD to practice at the time allotted. which is crap - i like doing late night sessions.....

Crush.

can i make a list?
Guillaume, for ace-ness
Maelle, for various reasons
Ronnie and his mum and dad - beautiful poi, wonderful hospitality, great food
Gom. of course.
Cameron - who couldn't fail to love him?
Stefan - a nicer man is hard to meet.

roll on next year (with a 24 hour space....)

I was in serious pain for a few days after those Stefan workshops...

As for the 3b simon says... I do enjoy hosting that particular game

its a great game, and i usually get there or thereabouts - but to lose by dropping a trick i have done blindfold for 20 catches (juggling above head while lying down) is just plain stupid. argh!

the money juggling made up for it though
