Below is a new video,It was filmed last summer but has taked forever to get online,the tricks need a lot of work but i hope you might like the direction im going with the footwork??
Also a very short run of four staffs.

Nice vid tim. I'm a big fan of footwork I also really like the version of the 3 staff shower that you do on this video, I guess its a bit more traditional than the other one, but I like it.

Only three catches off a 4-staff shower qualify , very cool! Can't wait to see it run a bit longer (as it undoubtedly will) in the next video

Irinus,thanks man,i hardly train the 4 staffs cos im resting my shoulder,i have qualified it at night a few times but not on tape yet.
as for the footwork its where all my thoughts are right now,it gives my shouder a rest and gets the blood flowing on these cold days!

I really like the ideas you've got with the footwork, but I think you really should try learning to catch them in the air, or to kick them up before they actually touch the floor. Probably will never work with the stepping over trick (such a shame really), but the rest of them should all be possible. Otherwise you'll be seriously restricted where you can use any of them depending on what kind of floor you're playing on, and having to skip them all would just suck.

It'll be a lot harder in the beginning, but worth it. Especially cause then you can kick them up immediatly which has a lot more dynamic.

Aah yes, a very topical point. Looks like we (my uni juggling society) will be cancelling a fire-gig we had booked for next week due to such concerns over the football pitch we were due to play on.

i am working on getting the catches without the staff hitting the floor but its very hard as my balance isnt to good yet!!.i plan to get the tricks clean as they are and then work on the catches in the air.
you are correct about the step over catch, i dont think this is possible without it touching the floor and yes that is a shame .
the foot catches open up heaps of new possibilities but as always im trying to limit the amount of new material i add to my training schedule.

please tell josh to make a new video its ages since i saw him and i hear some very nice rumours of new four staff tricks and more attempts of the 5staff shower?????

tim, you can do the under the leg kickup without it touching the floor but its a different placement.

And to participate to the thread, here is what I got with 3 staffs juggling so far :

shower (now almost both ways), cascade (of course), 441, 531 (thx to sebastian), 7131 (shower under shower), mike's mess, mill's mess, 423 (an "under the arm chop" 2, and a "behind the back blind catch 2"), and some other stuff, kinda hard to explain.
I'm working on a pirouette under 3, but still not have it!

And I work a little bit on 4 staff fountain... My best is 10 catches..

hope to see you in another convention! I will check out the ones that are comming!

koothor should be here as well he has some multiplex's with the triple shower as well as qualifiying runs on the four staff shower and the longest runs of the 3 staff shower ive ever seen!
