Doing FireShows there this year

I've found a few pic's of brookfields (only holiday photos from random peoples adventures there).. It looks cool. Hills either side.. Real green.. Lots of room.. This fest could be off the hinges..
I recommend anyone undecided should buy a ticket now..

If you follow the road (down) you should be able to make out the small lake. Look foor a dark green area with a couple of bushy islands on the inside of the corner.

Brookfields is a Scout Camp if that helps to give a feel for the place, paddocks, bush, stream, lake, fire circles, halls, cabins, kitchens etc

I've just looked online at some tours that end up in Queenstown, with the week I have in Christchurch before I fly off to Wellington I COULD come to visit you before the NZ JC

woop woop, looking forward to it, I can maybe offer you some crash space too, will check with the parentals when I see them later.

I got adopted for 2 days hitching round NZ.. random Canadian couple said they missed their kids, so did I mind if they pretended I was one.. They fed me, insisted on driving round all the hostels until they found a nice looking one, and told me (I think seriously) that they'd pay for a motel if they couldn't find a nice one
Y'can hitch from Christchurch to Qtown in a day, easy..
And why not, if Mr Blank will give *you* crash space :P
