Hello peeps!

I'm trying to compile a list of fuel names specifically for fire-spinning, as used in various different countries so that I can source the correct fuel quickly and easily even in countries where I don't speak the language.

If you have some info that could help me with this, I'd be really grateful to hear from you, and will share the written-up table once I've finished it.
I know that people's preferences differ, so it'd be really helpful if you could put down:
1) which country
2) name of fuel used (in the language of that country)
3) why you use it (info like flash points, smokiness etc would be great)

great! thankyou

Loz x

ah yes, thanks Jonny, but I had actually already seen this.
Although the info is very useful and I will be researching these further I didn't find it directly aimed at professional fire spinning (it is fuel used for backpacking stoves) - and it is a list from 2004 (I know I'm not using the same fuel as I did in 2004!). I know for example that what they have listed for use in Austria is not what is used by artists in the profession, and I would like a more specific list of fuel names and their properties that make them well suited to our profession.

But thankyou for replying! Any more info is very welcome

maybe off topic but...

Bio-Diesel is cool, its doesnt burn too bright but it doesnt burn incredibly hot. It's hard to get lit but once you do all you smell is french fries.

Mmmm... french fries.

I just use a kero/coleman blend.
Actually, while we're on subjects that've been covered before, does anyone know anywhere I can buy Australian Firewater in the UK? I hear it's good stuff.
