What did the forest do to you?

Or is it for their protection?

Imagine if the Ents from Lord of the Rings had laser guns...

well the Ents were slower than a stoner lol and couldn't make decisions

I personally think the lasers are to make the trees fall over staring at the pretty lights

whats the ground like at the site? Is it like a camping site and the ground is fairly even and grassy, or is it muddy and uneven like a farm field? Will I need to bring my wellies?

Simon technical questions that can't be answered from my life in cyberspace I haven't been to the site yet I plan to do that on monday. but it is apparently better than firegathering ground which means neat grass it's not a farm but a camp site...

Neon - was thinking about it, not sure about ££ tho, esp after travel costs, I was thinking if you travelled to Oxford then we drove from there might save some for both of us, but it's probably cheaper for you on the mega bus. I don't know anyone round here that either wants to come, or could get time off (they're either busy or fully booked on holiday for Play).

Other than the obvious workshops and such, is there gonna be any 'Kiddie' stuff happening? Just that considering kids under 12 get in free, there's gonna be a hell of a lot of kids ascending to the fest...think of all the 7 sibling families who's parents are thinking wkd, £50 for a whole wknd and we get to bring everyone...
I'm coming with my 7yr old, and between me and my friends we have a definate 5 kids, waiting on another 3...so yeah, will there be any thing(other than killing passers by with flying socks) for them to do? It don't matter too much, I mean...kids find enjoyment in the simplist of things..

Bubbles? Oooooo....I love bubbles, sod the kids hahaha
You're doing beginner poi right, so why not have a kiddy poi sesh too? You could have it in the morning as most parents will be the first up due to their lil darlins waking at silly hours!! Only probem is, are you supplying poi for ppl or just assuming that those who want to spin will already have em? Cos if I remember, on your site it say things to bring...'toys' I suppose you could just advertise it and just hope that lots of kids do have their own. I'll be bringin lots of sock poi cos otherwise my friends, and the kids won't have anything to play with!! So you're more than welcome to use the ones left over...

We have all of our Circus Skills Workshop equipment available for the workshop sessions. Own hoops and yo-yo's would be nice but not essential

I think the bubble bllowing is the most popular workshop Kia was excited about that as well

Marie just bought 2 boxes (about 48 bottles) of bubble mixture as well as the stuff she's going to be using for giant bubbles... think we need to put this on early afternoonish rather than later

and to reiterate our good friend samuel kasrani close up magician said he may well pop in on the saturday to show off

I know were so lucky to have these guys! they tell native american stories.. i cant wait! although im guessing i will be to busy to listen.

Anyway the tickets are now starting to shift!!! which is good because as this is a new event the more we get in the more were ploughing back into it...hence the tipi stort telling.

We are listening to what our punters are saying (once again hence the volley ball court) so if you have an idea we havent thought of please voice it, a 1000 brains are better than 4.

This event has never been about making money I promise you all that, its been about putting www.flamefireshows.com on the map and having a 3 day party the way we! like it on our! door step. oooooh i cant wait!!
