Well even though I would clearly put my self in the eat,drink and live doof - I also concur that it is great to have other music types and look forward to hearing some of you guy-z fav tunes

I love the world music, bungra beats and Bender that French Reggae sounds alsome.... Really dig tunes in different languages.

- anyway back to the main question....

Should we *just* have an open blackboard (you can write on it first thing Friday morning) with Workshops or would you like a few scheduled workshops in there so people can plan the days and times they really need to be there for?

However, I will stresss.....that there will defiantly be a few times where we will require everyone together - eg. show planning, preparation etc....

sounds promising! i've also got a set entirely made up of (contemporary) mid-east ballads from which i might play a few (ballads are so much cheezy to western ears when the lyrics are sung with the complexity and nuance of arabic) music at CG is important, but yes i hope this isn't too off-topic(!)

also, shall i bringeth a megamaphone for use in workshop calls?
with the guttony of so many kickarse workshops in one weekend comes the problem of needing to be on the ball with workshop times.

can you have a space covering both options kate? i reckon timetabled yoga in the am and some choice workshops, then a some free for all.

if there is no structure there is danger of things not happening.

I'm pretty happy with how the times have turned out in the past.
One thing i would like to avoid would be workshops directly in the midday sun.

How likely are there to be tickets left approaching closer to the time? If I can get some time off from the circus, I would love to come, but as we will be in Perth around then, I'm not sure I can make it.

well - we sold out about a week before the event last year - but demand is going up every year, and I wouldn't want to bet on waiting til the last minute. We will post advice on ticket sales tho closer to the date (after we have begun selling them). ie if you see 40 tickets left - dont miss out! believe us! we have unfortunately had to turn people away at the last minute because they didnt secure a ticket before they were sold out.

you would need to secure your flights before then anyhow - so I think you will be ok.

UberOz2, CG, Woodford/Circadia for NY and the Australian Juggling Convention in Feb... (and a quick hop across to NZ would yield 5 festivals in about 6 months..)

not to mention all the other lovely festivals he could go to that arent specifically juggling / twirling related...



Its not like there are many juggling festivals during this period in the Northern Hemisphere...

I maybe able to make it. Yay!! Nothing concrete yet but.....
