Where do you see yourself 10yrs in the future?

Sorta sounds like the geography here in Oklahoma. Oklahoma if you didn't know has majority red dirt due to the high iron concentrations found in the soil.

Wow, this is a big question. In 10 years time I will be 41, and I have to say that if things keep going the way they are I will be in a great place - your 30's are just so much better than your 20's - definitely nothing to be scared of. It would be lovely to think that I might be setlled in some place for a while perhaps with a life partner and a kid or 2. I enjoy all the bush-work that I do and am looking forward to going back to Alice Springs in a couple of months, but I don't think I'll be there in 10 years. Hopefully I will have moved on to spinning without hitting myself by then.

Life is such a big adventure and we are so fortunate - we should all celebrate how exciting everything is.

hey this thread is old but fun in ten years I'll be very educated I guess. and I'll be 30 but still spinning and I can speak four languages (now I speak two )

Just caught my eye, didn't notice dates. Been a L.O.N.G while since I've been on HoP - New job, long hours etc., Was just perusing over a coffee and killing time be4 work.

Alright, thirty seven.
Still wearing predominantly black.
Still a nerd at heart.
Still hitting the pipe like a champion.
Still wont be able to make decent Chinese food.
Still listening to heavy music.
Probably have much of the same mindset I had ten years ago. Some things don't really change. As long as I still have that love for the small joys in life things should basically be good.

Given all the sacrifices that I'm making: I'd better be a bloody foreign correspondent for the ABC. Or at least close to being one.

Hopefully I will still be spinning, also if I am not struck off by then. Otherwise I would be reasearching something, not sure what it is, and hopefully a family!
