...now I wanna give em back at the beginning of the day

I know exactly how you feel!

Brandi is horrible about getting up in the mornings to get ready for school. By the time she's actually up and ready to go, I need a Valium...or two!

mmm... all jokes aside, I kinda miss all that... on average I only see my kids prolly every 3 out of 4 weekends...

till the end of last year I was working from home, and had 2 of my kids with me fulltime and I loved it... isaac was in preschool last year, so I got to be the only dad on excursions and morning teas etc... did the school runs, afternoon tea, packed em up and sent them off etc

back in a stupid "real" job now, but I'm grateful for the privelege of having been able to be "mr. mum" for a couple years

Taj is walking now! Yesterday he took 6 steps in a row... the cute, lift your leg as high as you can, kind of steps... He is just 14 months, (by a day now) a friend of mines baby wasnt walking until 18 months...

That baby has a developmental delay and needs to be seen by a pediatrician. And a pediatrician who won't blow it off as "oh, he's fine." Seriously.

Written by: ]Tajs gives big sloppy kisses and high fives now too. He also has this thing for putting EVERYTHING (remotes carkeys telephones) into his little baby shopping trolley (a real metal one!) and wlaking it around... so so cute.[/quote

Taj, on the other hand does not sound like he has a developmental delay. In fact, he sounds like he's ADORABLE, very cute, and very developmentally appropriate. And I can't wait to meet him in March!

Except...I thought he took his first steps a few weeks ago?

 Written by:

arrrghhh anyway Im wayyy off topic and into shameless baby promotion now... sorry!

Well the thread is about cute kids. Are you saying that talking about Taj in a thread like this is off-topic? ARE YOU SAYING YOUR SON ISN'T CUTE??? HUH?

*giggles*n oh no doc...Im quite biased in the cuteness of my son. I cant wait until hes about three and has his first little kindy girlfriend...I will melt into a puddle of Valura. I reckon he is going to be a playground pimp... espically if he has daddys charms.

I have told Taj all about you and he gurgled that he cannot wait to meet you, then he shouted.."BALL" and went to play with his Simpsons ball.

His first steps were on the 21st of July... but now he is doing more all at once...like six in a row is so great to watch! I just get all grinny and starry eyed...

to be honest doc I thought that my friends baby had a few problems but didnt say anything because I didnt want to sound like I was judging the child... The kid is now two and a half and still not talking too much, just uses noises to get what he wants.. Its a worry in some ways too cause he always seems to be sick...

my youngest son was walking at 10 months old,
my oldest at 13 months old,
but my middle son didnt walk till he was 2,
there is 14 months between the eldest and middle one and my eldest would get everything for the middle one all the middle one would do was bum shuffle.
he didnt even crawl.
he saw a specialist who finally put it down to the fact he was being waited on hand and foot

I had a six-year-old patiently explain to me today that his home, sad to tell, has a monster infestation. The problem is particularly bad under his bed.

But cheer up! They called the exterminator, who turned out to be Spider Man and he killed them all with his spider webs!

The kid, BTW, explained this all to me in Spanish.

And then he was TICKLISH! I've never seen a 4-month-old who was ticklish! Amazing.

Indigo is four months old now and ticklish. It's the only times she kinda laughs, when I tickle her on her sides or in her neck.

My dad used to do that to me when I was little. Freaked mom out immensely.
