My first official performance

Wahaay! Well, my best mate (who I've known since I was 5) got married at the weekend, and invited me to do a fire performance at his wedding reception. So, after getting all my safety up and running, I got to spin fire in front of 250 very bemused wedding guests.

I don't think I've ever experienced a buzz like it, cheers and whoops and whatnot. And now I understand EXACTLY what you lot mean when you say you get the best response by doing stuff FAST rather than the techy tricks. Best cheers were for REALLY fast 3 beat weave/fountain, and bog standard butterfly. Antispin flowers and BTB weave turns... not a flutter

I'd love to hear about other peoples first time performances...

i have my first performance coming up its only a small act but its all glow stuff with interaction between two people.

Spinning at a bar down my end for their first birthday in a couple of weeks. It dosn't seem like yesterday we were spinning at their opening night!

Think the opening night for the afor mention bar must have been one of the first..I don't quite remember...

Best gig to date was spinning at the re-opening of the De La Warr Pavillion in Bexhill. A huge theatre and gallery.

The terrace and both balconies were full up with people!
Around 2000 or so I'm told. That was...scary.
But the appluase afterwards. Wow

i really want to do some more shows but in gloucester theres not really a lot you can do it sux i am willing to travel to places to do it thats not a problem as long as it england
