SO i just found out that Aerotech are not gonna be making staffs anymore. In fact, oif you want one then today is the last day you can order one

In light of this news...

I have a question

What colors should i get?

and/or should i wait for something cooler to come along? I've been waiting a while mind...

Wow - do you know if they have any plans to make a new, cooler staff at some point or if they're never planning to make a staff ever again?

*starts wondering if they're going to be dropping any other toys soon*

I think I'd wait for something cooler - what happens when your shiney new staff breaks? If they're not making any more they're not going to replace it, even if it's under warranty.

Yeah

They said they want to concentrate on the new programmable (from your pc) clubs. And after that, balls.

So it will be about a year before they start developing a staff.

I know what you mean about waiting. But i've been saving my ass off to buy these things and now its make or break....

grrr

Dude, if you really want one (and I lust after my friend's one daily) I say buy it now. Sure, Bov's got a point about it breaking, but if you're like every other person I know that owns one, you'll take REAL good care of it.

And if something better comes along in the future, then worry about that then. You might get hit by a bus tomorrow, but at least you'll be carrying a glowing rod.

just don't tell nate and buy his ones, quickstyle!

really though, don't wait around ado - they've had those new superclubs 'ready' since last summer.

remember the glopoi redesign?
whenever aerotech give a new product release date, you need to add about 12-18 months to it

get a shorter one.

the big uns are wibbly wobbly bendy flexy and crap.

130-150cm are the nicest IMO

blue with orange tips / white? ooooh that'll be pretty.

150cm?

Isnt the biggest size 145cm? Thats what i was thining of getting...

I am confused?

Whats the shortest you reckon i could get away without sacrificing geeky tech contact?

not to mention flowy ugly fun contact?

are the shorter ones thinner? probably not....

oops, getting confused by metricness...

i meant 4 foot-ish

which is actually 120cm

shorter ones are the same thickness

and i reckon should be better for contact, because they flex less.

120 might be a bit short for me i think.

i've spent the last two years playing with 150's

So it'l be 130+ at the very least.

140 i reckon...

I dont remember strugz ones being that flexi though...? The olderstyle ones were i know but i though with th new outer casing thet wasnt the case anymore.

even the newest 5 footish aerotechs i still find way too flexy for me. Less bendy than they used to be, but still bleurgh. The ickler ones feel far superior, but everyone gets the big ones anyhoo...

Big ones are good

The new design they had making them thinker and being filled with clear silicone minimises flexing.

Mine flex a little but not alot.

Good choice in colours Ado

Although against white the orange will look red - my meteors are that colour

Simian - your small

Smaller would be grand for doubles but i want to be able to spin one at a time too. And i think longer would be better for that....

hmmm

bam's stick is only 85cm - but she is quite ickle too

any indication on how long they'll be making staffs for ado-p?

i'm thinking they will probably continue until they have the new versions out which i reckon will still be a year or two down the line...

that sucks big time - they are essentially abandoning a whole section of their customer base

if there wasn't such little competition, an action like that would be very bad for business.

exactly, its a real pity. Especially since i was holding out so long in the hop that something bigger and more badass was coming along.

Where are Iluminati at?

I just ordered em anyway ...

2 x 1.45m Blue and White Staffies with Orange ends.

The will still support the staffs till the end of there little glowy lives...
