That’s a pity, hope he make it later on in the year.
So, in the mean time, is anyone up to run some workshops at ConFest?
I’d like to do an old skool club swinging workshop, for example.

yes, there just wasn't enough time and initial response to get the whole thing solidified, we tried to whip it together but alas poor me i will have to tour sunny California and Washington instead . sorry about the tease. but you know i like to tease, don't you? THE GOOD NEWS is that later this year (sep-holidaysish) in 2 or 3 cities, maybe mel, bris, and adelaide, there will be 4-5 day intensive poi, staff, hula, dance, yoga, and sacred spinning retreats hosted by myself, Sage, and possibly the lovely girls from Indra Yoga. I am actually much more excited by this idea, the format is much more up my alley and sacred minded and the instructors are all amazing and accomplished worldwide performers (except me humbldeyhumble ) it will allow us to really dive deep into the art of it all. think yoga retreat for spinners. i think to truly dive in and present the stuff we have to offer, we need a few days of dedicated time and focus and meditation. there will be more stuff organized and info available once i get back from the west coast. until then...

"sacred minded"
"it will allow us to really dive deep into the art of it all."
*hides* That all sounds much scarier...
septemberish is right around commongroundish couldn't we just have some nice, not-scary workshops at that?
will there still be bellydancing?

yeah, NZ has that small isolated suburb feeling where everybody just wants to go to the city of the world for a bit and soak it all in before coming back and having babies. Um, Arashi, can I skip the belly dancing bit? g
