Ok people, what's your favourate film of all times? I only ask this cos I'm sat here bored out of my skull, listening to the top gun soundtrack.
So I'll go first, and I have to say top gun - it's such a classic, and full of typical 80's music.

Nightmare Before Christmas! I love it so much that I'm actually planning on getting Jack's head tattooed somewhere.

Nightmare before christmas is an all time favourite of mine. But I also love Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, and LOTR trilogy.
LOL i gotta go with you on ALL of those. The Nightmare Before Christmas is spectacular. I've watched it so often over the years and never got sick of it. Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail - HAHAHA! The LOTR trilogy was great. One of the few trilogies to actually carry a decent standard throughout all 3 movies and not bomb terribly. only complaint i have is that they killed off my darling elf in the 2nd installment. cretins.
I'll take all those, and add on some disney movies. You can't go wrong with disney! well, not really the recent stuff, but the older ones - Aladdin, Pocahontas, Robin Hood , and of course, The Lion King.
gimme a good sing-a-long and you can bubble-wrap, package me, and mail me to the north pole

None of you lot ever seen "Withnail & I" then? Bloomin' marvelous so it is. In a very English way.
Those of you drooling over LOTR, have you checked out Peter Jackson's early stuff? "Braindead" is a masterpiece and "Meet the Feebles" needs to be seen to be believed.
I always want to say "Star Wars" whenever anyone asks the favourite film question. The original original ones mind, none of this anakin and jaja rubbish.

Me too!! Yesma (phonetic spelling) has to be the best, especially "i'll turn him into a flea, a harmless little flea, then i'll put that flea in a box, and then i'll put that box inside of another box and then i'll mail that box to myself and then when it arrives *hahaha* i'll smash it with a hammer!" sorry about that i'm just a bit obsessive *grins innocently* it has to be one of the best ever!! but now the disney films are really bad (pirates of the carribien accepted) and no animals speaking etc ah well my bitching is over but still AMAZING Emporors new groove "WHATS HIS NAME? KOOSKO................ *carries on singing*

HAHA oh yea i completely forgot about the emperor's new groove! that was really good, almost at the same level as the earlier disney movies, which i think totally rock. i do miss the little musical aspect that came with the movies tho. was sorta a package deal. long live sing-a-longs!

Hmm toughie. Mine is probably Lord of the Rings as well. All three are masterpieces each in their own right. Ah can't please the fantasy buds without any other movie.
