just move to uni in worcester and dying to meet up with some spinners to learn some new move and just have a laugh!

yeah getting together for a meat sounds great, only problem being my only form of trasnpor ti smy legs an bike!

There's something regular planned at my place, as there's plenty of space for people to stay, and a few other people like musicians come round too. First event went quite well, although there weren't any spinners from HoP there.

I'm right on top of the Malverns in Colwall, but if people can get to the station we could give them a lift to save them the walk up the hill.

Looks like we've got something planned for the first week in March, we've just got to check with some of the other people who help out before finalising the date.

I'm away from home pretty often (visiting other HoPpers) so it's my sister who's doing most of the organising, as she's in contact with everyone. I spin, handle decor/visuals, and attempt to DJ when no-one else wants to.

woah, u must be a mind reader peteyboy, im in pershore, about 15 mins away from worcester, and was just today thinking of finding some people around here, to chat with if nothing else! i know so few people who do this kinda thing, will make a change to find someone espacially so local!

Finalised the date for the little event at my house, and it's going to be the 3rd to the 5th of March. Gonna work on the flyers this weekend. More info here.

We'd be happy to host spin meets here and can have people round nearly every weekend during the summer.

Right, I'd quite like to organise some kind of meetup, preferably of the weekly flavour, but we'll see what kind of interest we can generate. I'm thinking sundays are possibly a good idea, any and all interested should post in here and let me know whether that suits or we should move it around. I'm around in the evenings in the week and generally flexible on the weekends. Let's irrigate the poi-desert that is worcestershire

I was born and raised in Worcester so im back there 4 or 5 times a year. Next time im back I will try and hook up with you all.
Any of you guys coming to Southern Lights this year? would be good to have some fellow people from the WOO down.

Wow... ok... heres me thinking worcester would be dead as far as poi was concerned! I've just moved here, live 5 mins out of the city center and im already bored I've met 3 of you before which is cool, but people dont remember me, i have one of those men in black memory zappers.

Needless to say i shall be available for spinnage anytime!

Bit of a late-notice job, but here are some copies of messages I've sent to the facebook group for those that aren't part of it.

"Having waited ever so patiently for nice weather it seems we've finally got a little. Tomorrow (Saturday 5th) looks like being quite a nice day, shockingly. So I propose a little meetup for anyone interested in a park in worcester some time in the early afternoon, say 2-5 or summat. We could have a nice little picnic and a play, any takers?"

OK weather's not as nice as I hoped for and there's not gonna be anyone can make it this week it seems, so we shall try again next week. Next Sunday 2-5 on the field next to the outdoor centre/county hall, weather permitting

Right, things have moved on quite some way! Myself and Sketch went to a meet organised by a very nice bloke called John at the Green Centre over in Dines Green this evening, and all was rather lovely

The space is brilliant, big with very high ceilings and good lighting. It5's gonna be on every week, with a £3 donation towards the space. It started at 1830 this week, and I think it'll be the same from now on, I'll probably post again to confirm though. Please make this if/when you can, it really is too good to pass up on, I reckon we've got the beginnings of a very good thing indeed here

Hello.....Suz from other night...just put a thread on too bout club without seeing this one...ooooops! Anyway was real good to see you guys there appreciate you both making the journey and nick you put me to shame on ya poi!!!.
Hopefully we'll have lots more fun tuesday nites with some new faces and cant wait to get out doors with some fire in the future yay!!!!!!
