I'm looking to buy a new set of juggling clubs
I'd like to know what brands people have had sucess with, or brands that you haven't had good sucess with I'm looking mainly at euro's
I currently have flairs but their not what I would like to have in a club thier fairly short and they are terrible for club balancing.
right now I'm not sure what I should buy so If people can give me advice on .
which club brands are good and I should take into consideration.
And which clubs are bad and I should not plan to get.

I've been looking into this for a while now and after a bit of research and some excellent threads on here (which i cant find now ), I've finally settled on a set of henry's pirouettes. Been stealing my freinds ones whenever i get the chance and really like these ones. Also tried out Radical Fish and some Dube ones. Also, almost everyone i know seems to have the henrys ones so i guess it would help when passing to have matching clubs. Not that i can pass yet mind you. best of luck

all white pirouettes. Isn't that the *only* juggling club for the serious juggler?

Arrrgghh!! Pirouettes Pre, you've reopened the pirouettes vs. albatross debate Pirouettes are thin and have long handles, probably better for learning clubs and numbers clubs with. Easy to catch wrong ended and have a fairly fast spin. Quite good for learning to pass with. Many people love them Albatross are fat and difficult to catch wrong-ended, have a slow spin, but many people (including myself) swear by them Depends what you're after, I find it's difficult to change from albatross to any other club, whereas it's fairly easy to change from piros to another club, and if you're passing it's easier to have a mixed bag with piros than alba's However, many American jugglers including all the professionals seem to love Renegade clubs. I used to use Euro's too, they lasted me two years and then died. They have quite a fast spin and are easy to catch wrong ended, however since starting to use the albatross I haven't looked back. Nice and floaty

Mmm, albatrosses I prefer the almost lazy spin they have compared to anything else. Also, they're a very nice weight if you fancy a bit of swinging the clubs instead of juggling them.

PX3!!!!!!!!! kicking myself for not buying them when i had the chance. come in albatross or piroette style, good weight, they will make custom colours, its an itaian manufacturer, and they are practically unbreakable. the only weird thing is that they flex slightly, which traditional dowl cores dont do, but im really fed up with broken clubs so Im going for thease next... either that or Dube Klassic Klubs... but i havent juggled them. of the rest, I love albatross too, tho they are gonna make you stronger before they make you better... I haven't read all of this thread, so I'm sorry if I repeat some of what's been said.
If you're looking for something sort of cheap and really high quality, I have a set of Twist colour clubs, which I ordered from Goudurix, it's a shop in Montreal, Canada. They're absolutely wonderful, they're light and well-balanced and really really durable. I've been working on eight club passing with them and they're working really well.
Euro clubs are also really really inexpensive, and they're almost as tight as the Twist.
If you're looking for something professional, then Henry's Pirouettes are definitely the way to go. They're probably some of the best training clubs on the market, pretty well everyone who knows what they're doing endorses them, and particularly the white ones are beautiful. They're light, so no danger of getting tendonitis from practice or anything like that, and they're incredibly well-balanced and they never fall apart. They're beauties.

I'm a total beginner with clubs. I bought some of these a while ago. (Beard Circus Special Luminous £12 each from Oddballs) They're glowy and cheap - two of my favourite things. I have been using my girlfriends clubs to learn with. Her gran found them at a car boot sale for £1.50! They are small (only about 3/4 of the beard ones) and wieghted quite strangely but I've found that I can juggle better with mine after an hour of so with the 'car boot' ones.

Beard what? Beard do a lot of different type of clubs... I have one beard. It is on my Chin. It's a fun little thing, it keeps me amused when I stroke it, especially when I am being thoughtful...
*looks at Beard Price-list in his hand*
I see... 38 different options available from Beard, including the Radical fish...
Are you worried someone will Copy you? or that we'll laugh at you because of your preference in Club?
*shakes head in disbelief*

Now then, now then,
lets not have any disbelief. Its not good for the soul.
Pre, it does seem a little that you are actually trying to take the piss. No.. honestly it does.
Something Im a little confused about which I hope you can clear up for me.
You said originally, "although i wasn't looking for starter clubs I was looking for advaced clubs" ...but you then go on to say: "IF you are on a budget".
Did you somehow manage to find budget advanced clubs?
Or is it more that you were looking for advanced clubs, but decided on beginner ones to start with?
"about $30 each at most stores" - my local health food shop doesnt sell them

their beard euros

That wasn't so hard, was it? Although it was a bit like drawing Blood from a Stone...
Having now managed to get more than a qualify of three clubs, I might actually invest in a set... I would probably go for a set of wide bodied clubs... They'd be nice and Visual for swinging as well, I guess...

good choice ado-p henry's delphins are becoming very popular at the moment, especially for some reason in the states (where they are much harder to get!). they are a great budget club (at only £12 each) and (from reports) are at least as durable as henry's other clubs and renegades. i want it to be summer so i can juggle clubs again... cole. x

Yeah our society got a new gear order in a while ago, and after some consideration we went for henrys delphins for the society clubs, and I have to say they are nicely weighted and light enough to not wreck you hands..
But for myself I would always prefer henrys pirouettes... Or Passe Passe Px3's which are ok if a lil heavy and not as durable...

i gots beard circus fluro yello, they are good begging clubs i recon but the knobs come off... try tape to put them on cos re-drilling and screwing wont last long... I like to pass albatross, they look wicked too, but I recon i might get fat bodied px3's next, mainly cos i want a club that dosnt break so easy.... I learnt to juggle on dlephins, and while I recon they are a great begginers club they are just to light for outdoor work, where even a light breeze will blow them off. T

Ok so i'm looking to buy some new clubs soon.
I really like henry pirouettes, but also have played with some PX3's recently (but can't remember what type... grr) what were nice(but slightly odd that you could bend them... ).
I also don't want to spend shed loads of money on them.
My questions are, which do you reckon would be the best for economy & nice juggling. And do you know where i could get them cheaply?

for economy with quality you can't beat henry's delphinfrom the henry's shop: http://www.henrys-online.de/Webshop/enter.html?lang=en-usalthough, having said that, px3's with their plastic dowel will last and last and last... cole. x

has any one used Mr Babache Flip Colour? or Flip short? they're the same price (AUD $26 from Juggle Art) which is realy cheep, but all there is in my area is Babache Stars, which cost much more.
other than those, i tried Albatrosses a few years ago, n they wernt too bad, but i prefer a medium to slim club. iv got one set which are actualy foam bassball bats, with an aluminium core. there good first clubs, but only if your tall, coz they're realy long, and spin realy slow, so you need alot of arm leangth. they're also great for tucks.

yeah i think i had the Mr Babache Flip Colour ones as my first clubs.
Personaly i don't like them i think they are good for learning a basic cascade but they flip to slowly to be good for much else. Plus the plastic handles feel yuck compared to wound ones.

well with all the brand names and model references flying around I've started to feel a little out of my league. However, I have some fire clubs with wound handles and think the design is crap. The tape at the flame end is burnt and the wrap around handle has come loose. Not over impressed cos they've not seen much use. I have normal clubs too (sorry normal will have to do - I could say they're a Mightyspin 2000 Ti but I'd be talking [censored]) that have a rubbery plastic handle which is not a wrap around type and they've stood me in good stead for years. Much more durable. I won't buy wrap around handles unless it's taped, stapled AND glued.

has anyone compared the "PX3 Pirouette Flip Juggling clubs" sold in the HOP shop with any other juggling clubs? what did you think?

So just bumping this for a quick inquiry (seemed like the best place for it): if I'm just starting to play with club manipulation of the sort that does not involve throwing, is there any reason for me to spring for a better club than the MB Soft & Safe? I know with poi weight distribution is something that affected my spinning at all skill levels, but my club spinning experience so far consists of 10 minutes with someone else's PX3's so I don't know if something like that matters as much...

Thanks! I do like the look of the Airflite, particularly when it comes to its weight. And after the Soft & Safe at $8 it looks like the next price range up is $17-20, so it comes out reasonably priced as these things go...
