I'm currently working on the behind the back 3-beat and 5-beat. Not even close on accomplishing this goal. Would it better with a sock poi or a stringed poi? i have a stringed poi with an optional tail.

I find it good to set things aside once in a while and come back much later with a fresh perspective. Sometimes all it takes is having learned a different trick first for you to comprehend those moves that are frustrating to learn.

What am I working on? Hmm... one-handed butterfly (with turns), waistwrap weaves (and waistwrap butterflies), superduperuberloops (or at least saying it), hyperloop throws, and between the leg butterfly weaves (and utl buzzsaws).

Nothing wrong with that. In fact, I need to do more of the basics. I got so wrapped up on btb waistwraps, Im no longer capable of doing a simple 2bt chase.

Nope. I just have to stay a bit tighter on moves so I dont go knocking crap off of my bookshelf.

im also putting some more tym into diabolo.
got a new meteore a few weeks ago, and i ALMOST managed to get it changing hands. then i had to duck. realy fast.

sorry that made me giggle - completely what i am like at the moment! i hit myself in the cheekbone with my poi a few weeks ago whilst learning to corkscrew.

As many of you know i am working of my 5 beat weave *sobs.. i just can't get it* also working on alternate extended reels.

(seem to be more natural to staff than poi.. )

curently working on a kind of scissor kick corkscrew jump thingy - from corkscrew bring one (or mabye two ) hands down and spin the poi under your legs while scissor kicking over it. hardest part is finding a place to practice where i don't either demolish my possesions or look like a crazy prat

hmm, what am I working on..? Oh right: Contact staff.

Actually, I finally am cleaning up my forward 3bt hybrid weave. For some reason it was a whole lot harder than the reverse 3bt hybrid.

That and straightjackets. I can get into the move, but continuing momentum for a few beats before I exit has been quite challenging.

Other than that, its all about the dance.
