yeah...UCE is a crap school. So disorganise
But nevermind, only UCE can provide the course i want among all Uni in uk, so no other choice.

So, who will go to Nottingham this weekend for the big meet?
Should be a cool one~!
(shhhhh....ros, are you going on both days?)

aye, fine by me. lectures run from 9-11 on that day and that's it for me so any time really.

I kinda picked up a fountain-y shaped staff combination already done pretty much entirely behind the back (hip level pass then round to a above-the-head level pass)

Still gotta practice the basics a lot though, I get uneven rotations on each side...oh well, not bad for 30 mins of staff...ever!

*Resists temptation to poi instead of attend lectures*

Why can't learning subjects feel like learning poi

Frustrating cos you can't understand it and makes you wanna kill the teacher?

Seems pretty much spot on to me...

Yes but I can stand around for hours being frustrated by poi. Whilst education loses me at the first hint of frustration, like waking up.

Gah! I can't make it this Thursday because my parents are visiting me and I can't fob them off again (yes, AGAIN) because I fobbed them off like the day before they were meant to visit, that I was going to Nottingham and they weren't too happy about it

Oh yeah, I've kinda gotta go because I've gotta pick up my digi cam so hopefully I can work out how to get uber fire poi pics

Keep me posted on the possible Sunday spins though, I'd definitely wanna go. Ta

Right, Sunday-wise I've got a possible indoor venue in mind where we might be able to burn, but will have to check with the proprietors.

If not then from what Sandy was saying, the UniBrum car park sounded like the best option.

I probably won't be able to make this coming weekend, but don't let that stop the rest of you!

Hands up who'll be coming a week on Sunday?

If you can get an indoor place that'd be pretty cool, fire's over rated anyway

Wow, Birmingham seems to be the place to be!

Do you guys remember Talie - the girl that came with me to Play? Cos she lives in B'ham and has gotten really into poi since Play, so do ya think she can join your gatherings?

PS. maus, have you still got my bandana, I still want that back at some point

Hi all. Thought i'd make myself known in the ol' brum thread. I'm gonna try to make it up to a sunday spin. Indoor place would be awesome with the crappy weather we're gonna start getting. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Still haven't got a fixed venue yet I don't think..got some possibilities but nothing concrete. Such crappy weather today, with the rain and humidity too. Have fun tomorrow you guys who are meeting at Aston. I'm being my parents' tour guide for the day

Will definitely be wherever on Sunday as long as I get directions that are easy to follow

Good to see that more and more people are appearing in Brum

easiest is train destination Redditch - platform 11b every 15 minutes or so, it's the third stop out then the top of the road (Selly Oak Station)

talk to people who are going to be about for timing. Like Rob.

hah, i would've, but they were offering to pay for lunch and as a student i couldn't really resist...i even left my stomach empty since yesterday lunchtime so i could cram today

also got a new digital camera now, so next time someone's making a burn, i'll play around with it so i can get some decent trails.
