Hi Yuta,

I watched this recently with a whole group in Toronto. Your friend Yuma had it on a CD. We all cheered. Very well done. Yuta the poi ninja I think :P

I hope to check out Japan next year!

Easy Kuta,

Im in Tokyo for two weeks at the end of January next year. Would be sweet to meet up with some Japanese spinners and maybe a night out in Tokyo.

Im a UK staff player who's getting massively into Capoeira.

Yes Yuta,
I used to spin poi/staff with Dai back in the Drome -
Drew

And I was lucky enough to have Drew introduce me to Dai at an EJC a few years back. I spent an hour in an empty juggling hall with him late one night. I'm still only about 35 minutes of the way through learning the whole hour's worth of material.

Your video is amazing and inspiring. Please gift us with more in the future...

amazing
awsome ..
really a great set, I particularly love the dynamic variation between speedy pirouette and slow isolations
just remember to have a few light on the floor (like a torch), next time, so that we can see you a bit more ..
and find a better place

I can't believe I missed this video, considering I've slowly been building a library of your videos from your website over the past two weeks.

Yuta, you are my new poi idol

I'm loving the the whole variation of spinning speed thing, I don't get to see alot of that.
That's a great artsy starting to the video too, great way to reduce the amount of fuel flying of freshly spun off wicks I might add.

I really, really want to revisit pirouettes,,,,again

Two thumbs up....David

oooooh is pretty

Im with Olive on the more ambient lighting needed.

But that was a sweet video. Those isolations still screw my head up even though I know how and why they work.

Excellent work my friend.

There are no stix in this video

Yuta - ive seen some poi spinning in my time but that was certanly up with the best of them.......

Clean and tight - my favorite bit was the fast antispin

As a video - id agree with other comments -nice to have a contiuos set - but more light on that smooth movement of yours would have been sweeeet

Great Work
