Wow, that was the most fantastic weekend I have experienced in living memory. So great was it that I'm only just getting to a stage where I can sit long enough to write about without running off inanely to babble on about how the whole thing was to anyone who I can encourage to listen to me

Right, a couple of major thank yous are in order after the mass quatities of general good naturedness I encountered all weekend!
Obvious one first to Dunc and everyone else who organised/ran workshops and performed for just being fantastically excellent and putting all that hard work into making the whole weekend so enjoyable. Smiles around from this corner

2. Thanks to Sandy for managing to teach me the technique of contact staff, I would never have got it without ou dude

3. Thanks to Kev for the fantabulous swinging club workshops &, of course, for the chilli vodka

Oh and just so you know, I have appointed you as my new master

4. Thanks to Bov for being an amazing inspiration on the club swinging front (I need to hang around you more dude!)

5. Thanks to Ro for the continuous lending of your beautiful yin yang clubs (I have now bought some) they had such an amazing positive effect on my weekend

6. Thanks to Nate for letting me use your absolutely gorgeous gloclubs, I had a lot of fun playing with those

7. Thanks to Durbs for letting me borrow his brilliant aerotech poi (my first tech spin, yey!)

8. Thanks to Skully for that superbly macho outfit

(I'd forgotten how much fun it was to dress up!) and for the lovely chocolate injection

9. Thanks to Kath and Auntie Lynne for the Johnson's Baby wipes after I made a mess of my hand with that whip

10. Thanks to Pink for the germoline without which my hand would have probably become infected (it's healing up nicely by the way

)

11. Thanks to MattyB for the rather expediant lift to the train station on Sunday, much appreciated dude. Kieron did make his train in case you were wondering

oh and finally thanks to Will for not stealing my trousers either while i was or wasn't wearing them

I promise to bring them with me to every gathering I attend so long as they don't migrate to your bag!

Blanket thank yous are in order for everyone who attend for keeping the vide incredibly positive and making the weekend thoroughly enjoyable, I feel privalaged for knowing each and every one of you.

Just a few other comments:-
I thought the length of the workshops was just right. Just enough to share enough knowledge to make good contribution to your repetoir without over-exposing you.
I also thought that the warm up session ran by Rob onm Saturday was a brilliant idea. I think it is very important that we expose the idea that although spinning is relaxing, it is still exercise and so warming up is important.
Only extra thing I was sorry not to see a return of was the double hula staff matrix, those of you who were at Falmouth will know what I mean

I think I may have to take a break from my travelling of France next year to come back to Play 2!
