Chocolate Fruit Fondue
Ingredients:
* Fruit: bananas, cherries, strawberries, kiwi fruit, mandarin segments, apple, lychees, mmmmm whatever you have available.
* Forks to stir choccy fondue sauce, and to dip pieces of fruit with.
* Dark cooking chocolate. We used Farmland from Coles. It was cheap, nice, and even vegan!
* Soy/ Milk to melt it in/thin it down a bit. Over the evening we used about half a carton of soy for 3 big bars of chocky.
* A flavoring (optional).
eg kirsch, creme de menthe, coconut, coffee, bailey's, rum, chile etc.... mmmmm
Our Magic Moonfest Mix was greatly blessed by the addition of some miraculous Ginger Wine

manifested from a blue plastic bag by a wizardly woodsprite
Nice seasonal warming touch, the ginger. And soooo yummy.
To make:
Break the choc into a fondue pot (or small saucepan) that is sitting in gently boiling water.
(Helps the choc melt evenly without burning)
Stir occasionally with a bit of soymilk and anything else you want to add in till it's all melted together.
Spear pieces of fruit on yr forks and dip them in the choccy mix... Yummy.
Leave them in for a little bit till the fruit warms through..double yummy!
Any small based saucepan will do for a fondue pot.
It just needs to sit comfortably in a larger pan that has water boiling gently in it. We used a flat bottom wok on a brazier that had burned down to coals.
It probably tasted all the yummier for eating it under a full moon on the beach together... Yay Moonfest!
* looks for Moonshine gremlin* *has to imagine one*

everyone who brought fruit and enjoyed brazier time
and YAY Adrian with the spiffy head torch!!
