Sticky stick grips

Si does hot good, but core your sticks max.

on a note, i have half decided to abandon Si grips
not because they embody "the constant feeling of sweat" - mcp
but because they fall off :-(
ah well

unless anyone knows a site that i can get spray on latex from???
im back to tennis grips

I use raquetball tape over electrical tape, which is wonderful, but it does some apart eventually... a friend of mine had some bouncy grips made of foam, but I havn't a clue even now where he got them....

the electrical tape is to take the heat off the rubber, i'm very temperature sensitive. good electrical tape i've not ever had a problem with it coming off btw, but the raquetball tape needs to be redone every now and again much as it would on your raquet....

i like it much better than tennis grips tho! but just imo. its different.

yeah i managed to get some cores in not full length but they did the job, tho after using them i am thinking of trying to find something that embodies the feeling of sewat less cos they really do and it is pretty horrible and i keep spinning by grass which instantly gets em wet

I have used cork road bike tape for the staffs I have made....

It seems to work ok and comes in funky colours...

i now have my own design, top secret grip tape.

I need to conduct some experiments before I release my ideas, but do not fear, the experiments will be completed before the night is over.

ah my idea does still involve silicone, but it no longer feels sweaty,
and untill i pattent the idea no one gets it :P

no much better than gloves, this took inovation, inspiration, and too much time on my hands, that with current silicone falling off taken in to factor.

i've decided that i need to make silicone less peelable cos everyone as soon as they see it start to peel it off, about 5 people did yesterday

that was my planning as well, how are you going about said less pealyness?

hmmmm no ground breaking idea's yat nothing as good as the level of what yours is sounding like. lol my first idea was just put some tape over the ends where most people peel it from but i don't quite think that would be a very good soloution, and it would still feel like sweat

ah the tape works, but you have to put quitte abit, because the affinity between silicone and tape is not strong

Lavatwilight, i've tried using silicone as a replacement grip for my staff & it's awesome! though i have a question, were you able to get a smooth finish? if so, how did you do it? mine ended up all rough and crummy (it still works well though)
