Well after much love and paranoia trying to keep it safe I picked up my first scratches in Sydney airport.

I wasn't playing at the time...my trolley went over a bump and it came flying out of my bag and rolled 10 metres on a tar road.... I now have several scratches and I'm still distraught....

As a wise man from cj.irg once said, when you get a new acrylic, first thing to do is throw it at the ground and then you wont worry about scratching it anymore.

I was in a park with a few heads once and we were juggling away. A nice shiny unscathed 100mm acrylic in my hands. My girlfrien said dont stand so close to the pavement. I had'nt even finished the sentence "ah no, i'll be alright" and it went flying.
It's strange, no matter how many pillows, or a grassy field or whatever, them seem to be able to home in on the thing that'll do them most damage and head straight for it

DSS- at least now you'll be able to practice without worrying about it. Cool poi vid BTW

I heard that fad thing, wassit called? contact juggling? went out of fashion and everyone realised it was dumb and gave up.

Glad I never did contact juggling.

This is a good idea but I've found that filling with dark sand works a lot better that any other filler. It doesn't leave any empty space and it's much heavier.

Wow Drew, you are so very god like. Wow. Can I just keep repeating that?

What a beautiful site! It even had Dmitri in it! What more could one ask for?

A book perhaps?
Looking forward to the real thing,
A

at the 'padded cell' vid

Nice work, I like the background of the ball in the circle on the piano - the whole site looks very professional!
