Angel Delight is something you add to Milk and it makes a nice moussey(sp?) type dessert.
Let me find a link... http://www.waitrose.com/food_drink/wfi/notesandmiscellany/nostalgia/0105094.asp
Thats the best link i could come up with! there isn't a page explaining it better i'm afraid

It's the delight of angels. Muh. Nevermind. Stressful night Butterscotch flavour is horrible, raspberry is nice.

Ta Val et al! *prepares meticulously for an assault on woolies*You see, I've been illuminated in the ways of purely sinful dessertry, and the one I need (for no other reason than my palate says so) to make involves Angel Delight (vanilla though).. Will share the recipe if it's all it promises to be re: butterscotch- would someone volunteer to break the ees-very-goot-no-ees-not-goot tie?

"children love its light, milky taste; parents its goodness"
Whats good about angel delight?
From memory, the butterscotch was pretty rancid, the red flavours (rasperry) was good when I was aged 10

You know whats a good desert? Get some Jelly crystals. (Jello for you American weirdo's) But instead of using water. Make it with Vodka. then add icecream and fruit. and slowly get [censored]-faced while eating a delicious desert

Have an Angel Delight day or something Fine_Rabid_Dog: yes, more iron in my diet myco: I like how 'end up' has a ring of permanence to it Flame: you're welcome to move down too DoktorSkell, why: I've heard of vodka jelly.. haven't had it before. Darn.. I should have made it for my housewarming. Guess I'll just have to have another one.. Molly: might just do that tomorrow! NYC: there'd better be a whole aisle of it! I'm going to Woolies tomorrow specifically for it!

Vodka jellies! Yum! I first tried those at womad when i was helping on the guarana bar they were very yummy. I had quite a few.. i think. Butterscothc does look a bit dodgy. Tastes a bit iffy to... they all do. Metal? No thanks!
