New video compilation COL2005

Sorry people after last COL5 I am not willing to make another one. Please do continue to share on the net as you do and link to your videos in the video forum.

I will do some other project instead, hopefully with Pele.

PS This is a sad moment for me too as I have really enjoyed putting these together

Yes will continue to sell previous COLs while stocks last. They are a very small portion of our sales now.
Moving onto better things

It must have hurt to make the choice to stop producing it. I hope it wasn't purely for financial reasons.

Looking forward to it's replacement whatever it may be, my imagination is running rife! It might even have a decent soundtrack!

Dear all

After gettting many emails and PMs I have decided to do a HOP community compilation video.
"Made by the community for the benefit of the community"
Competition prizes are gone and 100% of all profits will go into paying toward the bandwidth used by the community.
This video will still be a huge marketing opportunity for those picked good enough to be on the DVD plus gain admiration from fellow spinners.

Please also take note of the new legal requirements for copyright protection.

Members can still vote after the video is released as to who they think was the best.
I also expect to halve the purchase price of the video, thanks to cheaper production sources.

Truthfully, that is what COL has always been.

A community made video. The concept has not changed, just the prizes.

Therefore, it is not competition for anything and I think the name should stay the same, Circles of Light, but instead of calling it 6 perhaps calling it 2005.
Date it by year, that way it will be concidered more of a "photo" album rather than a continuation.

Even though it is a continuation.

Basic changes are more legal requirements for copyright protection, no prizes, no competition, new name, and cheaper purchase price.

Still the same:
100% of all profits from previous COLs have been put towards cost of bandwidth for the site community.
