i was lookin at an LED glow hoop online recently... and would seriously consider going for it. I dont have the link handy...

are they worth the cash? any recomendations?

I love my psy-hoop. It did break once but was fixed.

It really looks cool but I often have to remember that I can't abuse it as much as my plastic ones.

And Ado, the cool kids out here tape GLOW BRACELETS to their hoops. They link them together into one long chain and then spiral it around as you would any tape pattern. They're cheap and fun. Some of them even put the connectors permanently on the hoop so they can just restick new ones in each time.

I had a go of jo's skully hoop, and was impressed by the prettyness, and non peely off covering, what is it that you used skully? Ive had a bit of a search and haven't found the answer mentioned

I have a hoop that lives at Tobi's but the pink and silver holgraphic tape i oh so carefully applied to it has started to peel already

Not as good as jons five ball juggle hooping, not as easy as it looks ! It probably helps if you are a confident juggler beforehand

Hello all:

I was wondering if anybody around here does hand hooping with small hoops. I don't mean off-the-body moves with a big hoop that one would throw in during a hoopdance set (like around the world or behind the back pass) but small hoops that never go around the body at all. I've been transferring some poi moves to hand hoops and it's been great fun and would love to share tips & tricks with others.

Oh and NYC: I love love love that Cirque video. That girl is amazing! Truly inspiring, though I think my contorting days are behind me...

I am most definitely not the hooper in the video. Wow wow wow! Thanks for posting it. Sweet isolations and btb weave with hoops!? wtf!!?? Some of the things in the video I imagined were possible but had never seen anyone doing it, and now I have so I know it can be done. so inspired now.

I can do a hoop trick I think! It's lots of fun. Sort of a behind the back arm change thing, pretty cool for someone who can't even keep it around her waist!

I swear I thought I saw you hooping around your waist..anway at least you can't get any worse than Sylphs attempt hahaha..I have had nightmares of that since(ok thats a lie but I'm surprised I haven't)
