Melbourne, sunday twirling.

Me and a friend checked out the spinning scene at Luna Park last night, pretty fun and relaxed. Shall see everyone who's going on Sunday! Looking to learn some more hardcore contact moves if someone is willing to teach.

I'll come tomorrow....as long as people will be there this time, unlike last week

im pretty sure thats in the actual alexandra gardens.. we're really the queen victoria gardens (i think thats the one) so we should be fine

So... Do I go tonight? I have work until 8.30, but I'm hoping to get off at 8. And I havent been in sooo long!!! Plus it's Moomba, which usually means fun freaky people!

Moomba and Future Music is on, so tonight probably isn't a big night for a meet. Plus there'll probably be randoms milling about.

Saw a bit in the paper about the fire spinning to happen as part of Moomba.. sounds great! I have been talking to some people here about having a big feature spin as part of our RiverFestival. Not possible to have it as part of/before the huge immense fireworks they put on.. may get to do some big shows in parks though. If I can put in a good grant application...would like to actually pay people to play...

Been to Edinburgh gardens for the fire meeting today and it was just me and the dogs.
For some reason every fire meeting i go to just don't happen why? oh why???
Maybe it means I should stick to my job at the liquor store

I took the 112 tram from the city and found it alright. I got of near the grandstand and decided to walk around it until I saw the circles of fire, it didn't take me too long.

Jarle, i dont know about wednesdays or thursdays, but i'd say the sunday gathering is around 7 more than 8.

dont know about last nights gathering. personally i wasnt there cos work that day had reduced me to tears so i was at the pub on a date with Carlton Draught.
