Hope youre well and enjoying your summer - I am so looking forward to getting over to join you - its grey and cold and wet here in the UK!!
Anyway - the good news is that SOLAR - our Fire Troupe shall be arriving in Sydney for our tour on the 30/12. We'll be heading upto Earthcore near Briz on the 2/12 and then basing ourselves in Byron Bay for a few months, doing Woodfood with Te Pooka, before heading back down to Sydney to do the Public Show of the Convention at the end of January. Well thats the tour plan at the moment - although as we all know - plans can and do change

Should Fire not be appropriate for your event U.V./Light equipment can be can also provide corporate team building sessions, circus skills workshops, meet-and-greet and roving entertainment.

Anyway, heres the HELP bit - we shall be requiring a vehicle to turn into the SOLAR mobile and transport us, all our equipment and P.A. all over your lovely country. Quite possibly we shall need camping and cooking equipment also. - So the ask!!:
Does anyone know of some lovely person/people who may have any of the above for sale, rent, lending or giving!! Alternatively if we cant get a vehicle for the 1st part of our journey to Brisbane on the 1/12, is there anyone on their way there from Sydney who could give us a lift!!
Any and all help will be gratefully recieved and some free workshops exchanged for your good energy

Stone Circle is back again this SFriday, 18th of November!
We had a nice semi-official start last month, but this week its ALL systems go for another season.

Sculptures By the Sea is also on, and the weather forecast for Friday is looking good!

Stone circle last night was awesome
Good to see you again Dentrassi, it'd been a while.

The rythme put out by the drums helped heaps with the spinning. It was good to get out and see other spinners again after my exams, it showed me that i can still learn something!!

Stone Circle is on again this Friday, 16th of December!

Going to try a bit earlier this time - start time is 9pm, not the usual 10pm.

The full moon actually falls on the Friday this month.

Lets hope the weather is on our side.

I think i might actually start a completely new event post for stone circle this time.... hang on....

Sydney Juggling Convention

not sure about how big thursday at glebe will be. Ill be off down to Rainbow, and a few others are up north at Confest - then theres the entire public holiday thing - we're getting a good turn out at the moment - but im not sure how this week will turn out.

Bump! first post updated. have yet to confirm the uni club meet times but hopefully most of whats there is correct. Ive expanded the scope of this thread to include Greater Sydney and surrounding regions, so if you hear of anything within say 2 hrs drive of Sydney let me know.

If anyones up that way - the Terrigal meet is worth it.

err i left them at Gabes house several months back last year. there were some spinners there who said they were going to meet you in byron (cant remember who - possibly the french guys?).
if that didnt happen - no idea - maybe they're still at Gabes!

pretty busy am afraid till after wednesday - i guess ill see you next tour - im moving up to brissy in a couple of months so ill probably see you up that way.

Hi Guys I know Circusoc is mentioned in the initial Posting by the ever knowlagable Dentrassi but I hope I can update some things for ya all.

We meet Monday nights 5pm to about 9pm with every second week going to the unit Gym afterward for Acro Balance stuff. (we dont meet in Uni Hollydays)
We meet at the Physics Lawn, behind the Red Building and beside the cricket pitch (you'll most likely need to ask about) There should be a map on the website Dentrassi linked to.

We mainly play with fire and socialise, but we have jugglers, unicyclists, acro base's and flyers and more.

We have a problem with our insurance with the Uni that only allows members to fire, but if Im about I'll offer to pay (if i have it on me or can con it out of someone else) and it still wont stop you from learning or teaching with out fire.

This said we are a LARGE group, with 20 to 40 regulars each week (mid year and double to tripple that at the start of uni each year), and we would love people to visit us and hang out share tricks gosip anything as most of them dont get out to other groups around sydney.

I do get out to Gleb Often, though I havnt for a couple of months now, and Im interested in droping into some of the others around Sydney.

Hope to see some new faces.

Because Everyone in our little comunity are great people to be around.
