Hey Dentrassi. As requested, here's the info for the new group I'm starting up out in Parramatta. I post event schedule and info on www.meetup.com. I'm looking to make it a fortnight event, every second Tuesday. The first fell on March 8, next will happen on Mary 22. I know of 5 people coming next Tuesday, but am hoping for more.

Here's the event details:

Tuesday 22 March, around 8:00 PM @ Doyle Grounds (soccer fields & cricket pitch) in North Parramatta. I choose this venue again, as it's usually pitch black after dark, very few street lights around. The venue has a large amount of open space. Located on Buller St in North Parramatta. The Stone Circle is again on this Easter Friday! This time its falling on the night of the full moon too.

And if its anything like the last its going to be awesome.

Didn't make it to meet you guys, sorry! Ended up seeing the Lion King of all things. It was wicked actually! Quite inspiring. Made we want to be a big powerful old woman with lots of guts, my own toys and a really loud voice!

Don't blame you, I dissapeared for a year

Work changed my schedule, and as of last week, I now have Thursdays free again, and fully intend to get back in to practice (not that I was any good at anything other than fire eating in the first place)

Seeing my fire stuff is in the boot of my car (in Queensland) I'm looking to buy a staff before Thursday, so i have something to play with when I'm there.

Looking forward to seeing you (and everyone else) again.

Hiya Sydney ppls, I'm hopefully popping down next week or the week after... I would like to drop in to the Glebe spinning and the Newtown juggling..
Ed and Roz, I will call you when I know for sure. Does anyone here have a floor I could crash on for two - three nights? or do you know of a good hostel? I have stayed in a few different hostels around Syd but most are a bit pricy.
Either way, I'm looking forward to partying and twirling with you all!

I set up a Yahoo Group for the Sydney Scene. www.sydneyspinners.cjb.net . Hopefully everyone can remember an address like that. Feel free to use it to promote your group or gathering. It is unmoderated so anyone can join and post. It's about time Sydney got organized.

I shall be visiting your lovely country in the next 2 weeks. Im flying back to the UK for the summer season (starting with Glastonbury) from a great tour of NZ and shall be coming vis Brisbane and flying out of Sydney, so only a week this time round. Coming back at the end of the year to work - possibly with Te Pooka, possibly independently......Anyhow>>>>
Would love to hook-up with as many of you HOP-ers as possible, for a spin - possibly run an informal workshop/skillshare for those interested.
Wondering where would be the best option (of the many) in Sydney. I guess that will depend on when Im fying out heh!!
Anyhow any info would be greatly appreciated, as would any kind offers of some floor space/garden for a hammock stylee, for a night or 2.

been a while since last contact but hey whatcha gonna do....
rgds the deewhy post on me trying to organise a regular meet, tell em to pm or email me if there interested or know anyone who is, would reeeeeeeeeeally love to get that going. i'm gonna try to make it to the next stone circle, school n stuff is kickin my ass atm.... is it gonna be on the friday before or after the next full moon (which is on the 24th to my knowledge)

oooh ooh, stone circle.. I haven't been to one of those : ) when is it? if it is Friday 27th I might be able to come : ) Does anyone know?

Sorry to dissappoint - got in touch with the guy who runs Stone Circle - and it doesnt run over the colder months - he said he did one in May last year, and hardly anyone turned up.

Itll start up again in October.

If your in manly there's a drumming/fire thing on Sunday nights at Shelly beach. I haven't been yet, but I know guys who go.
