Sp!nna of the Bury member Registered: 30/01/04 Loc: Planet Zog - Canterbury	I am most definately a sock-poi kinda gal and always find that i don't really get along with other peoples fire toys, so i want to make some poi that are just like sock poi to spin but either involve fire or leds. Anyone got any suggestions? Love Peas And a banana 4 monkey Moo Sp!nna _________________________ Any sightings of Moo the Cow should be urgently repoted to mooline direct on 0800 008 808. Bird now available in "advanced" Registered: 25/08/03 Loc: Cornwall	Invest in a pair of the LED hacky sacks from the HOP shop!! Recently there have been some developments and I've simplified them further. They now cost under �5 a pair to make and are more resilient to damage cos they have less components; I've just spent the past week practicing glow string style wraps with them and they've held up fine. Nicely weighted fire rope with a bitta ballchain would work i reckun or even just socks made of wick with some non-burny weight that doesn't get too hot. I never use rechargeables in my poi, but I'd be really interested in why it's a bad idea. Sounds hurty, particularly on fire, and prone to, um, burning and falling to bits. A really tightly crumpled ball of tinfoil would probably work well, maybe something else or a bit more weight inside it.
