This suck's......

Warning, this is a rant:

This suck's because i am a visual learner and also because half the stuff you all talk about i can't make head's or tail's out of. I under stand the abbreviations but i have know idea as to what most of them are.I have been spinning for about a year and a half but have never meet another spinner so all of the moves i know i have taught myself. ne waay's to get back to the point is i would love to learn most of the stuff most of you guy's and doll's talk about but i don't have any inspirational and musey type people around. that and i just realized this post is going no where so i'm just gonna quitmybitchin' and leave it here.

I've got almost the same problem. I've learned some very simple stuff from text. I'm starting to catch on a little bit to the text though.

Hang in there...Assuming you have some sort of transportation, there is a weekly spin practice here in Houston every Tuesday evening. This is meant for learning new stuff and is definitely geared towards newbies. There are also a couple people in town who teach lessons if you are interested in those as well.

i know! i'm just in a mood at the moment that's all.

I'm the only spinner I know two. I once saw someone from here do fire poi in Halifax but that's when I first started.

same here, everything i've learned is from on here or by myself and no one else near me that i've met spins, i don't think i've even seen another person spin in real life, only on videos online, i never even hear about poi until i found this site.

what is PIP?? and i know what you mean VT, though impossible I'm sure it is,..... i'm convinced i'm the only spinner in WA 0.0 have not seen anyone...poop....
